Town, School Board Terms Are Expiring
Terms of office are expiring on local town and school boards. Individuals seeking to run for the positions can begin circulating nominating petitions this week. Deadline to file the petitions is Friday, February 26. See notices inside for more details.
The terms of Sue Westermeyer (three-year) and Sue Christensen (two-year), Big Stone City school board members, are expiring.
Terms expiring on the Big Stone City council are currently filled by Gary Longhenry, Ward 1, and Brad Stoddard, Ward 3. Both are two-year terms.
The towns of LaBolt, Stockholm and Revillo all have openings for one trustee. The terms are for three years.
