CITY OF MILBANK NOTICE AND CALL FOR BIDS MILBANK LEGION CONCRETE BACKSTOP
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Milbank, Grant County, South Dakota will receive sealed competitive bids for the Legion Field Concrete Backstop.
Construction will occur at 234 N Dakota St, Milbank, SD 57252.
Engineered plans for the concrete piers and walls can be obtained at the Milbank City Office or by contacting the City Administrator at cityadministrator@milbanksd.com or calling 605-432-9575.
The Lump Sum Bid shall include all materials, labor, equipment and excise taxes to complete the project.
No bid or performance security is required.
Bids may be entered on individual company letterhead or quote sheets.
Bids will be received up to the hour of 11:00 a.m., CDT, on Friday, April 28, 2023, at the City Offices, 1001 East 4th Avenue, Suite 301, Milbank, SD 57252. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time. No bids will be received after the specified hour and date.
Each Bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope. Each sealed envelope containing a Bid must be plainly marked on the outside as Bid for Legion Field Concrete Backstop. The envelope should also bear on the outside, the name and address of the Bidder.
Bids may not be withdrawn after the time fixed for opening them. The City of Milbank reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive irregularities as deemed to be in the best interest of Milbank, South Dakota.
