Big Stone Library Opens Summer Reading Program
Big Stone City Library staff opens summer reading program themed color my world.
Children from kindergarten through fifth grade are invited to attend the Wednesday activity days starting on June 4 through July 16.
Parents and guardians need to stop by the Big Stone City Branch Library during normal library hours to register their children no later than Saturday, May 31. The hours are Wednesdays from noon to 6 p.m. and Saturdays 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
On the first day of the program, Wednesday, June 4, starting at 1:30 p.m., the entertainer, Paul Imholte from northern Minnesota will be performing with his vintage instruments and singing folk songs at the Big Stone City Community Center.
This free event is open to the public and is also the summer library program’s kickoff party for the children.
