Christmas Tree Lighting

Children and adults alike enjoyed the Christmas cheer surrounding the first community Christmas tree lighting ceremony Sunday, November 24. The event was well attended with about 75 people participating. It included the tree lighting after dark and then a children’s movie was shown while kids made crafts and decorated holiday cookies. The event was sponsored by the Valley Queen Employee Helping Hands group, which is planning to make it an annual activity.
