City of Big Stone City Council Proceedings

 

October 21, 2020

The Big Stone City Council met in special session on Wednesday, October 21, 2020, Meeting began at 5:00 p.m. with Mayor Wiik presiding. Roll Call: Roscoe, Athey, Redfield, Brown, Longhenry. Absent: Stecker. Others present George Boos, Bob Athey, Peter Steinke, Don Reiffenberger, Greg Strobl, Dan Bogenreif, Susie Harmening, Ryan Poole.

A motion was made by Bruce and seconded by Steve and Darcy to approve of the change in zoning classification of property owned by Darlene Bogenreif from A-Agricultural to R-Residential. Motion carried.

Motion made by Darcy, seconded by Randy to accept first reading of Ordinance #2020-10 (Midco Contract). In favor Roscoe, Athey, Redfield, Brown, Longhenry. Motion carried. 

Report was given on the hiring of a new Finance Officer.

A letter will be sent to a council member due to his absence at meetings.

Darwin Ausmus was hired as assistant liquor store manager.

Being no further business a motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Brown and seconded by Athey. All in favor, motion carried
