CITY OF MILBANK NOTICE AND CALL FOR BIDS MILBANK BASEBALL MAINTENANCE SUPPLIES, City of Milbank, March 23, 2022

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Milbank, Grant County, South Dakota will receive sealed competitive bids for numerous baseball field maintenance supplies. 

Bidders are required to bid all items. Substitute equivalent items are required to have catalog sheets and/or adequate product information to determine the equivalency of the product submitted with the bid. Final determination of substitute equivalent items will be decided by the Milbank City Council. Any single disallowed item will disqualify the entire bid.

All supplies will be delivered to 512 Flynn Drive, Milbank, SD 57252.

No bid or performance security is required.  

Bid forms must be submitted on bid forms supplied by the City. Bid forms are available from the Milbank City Office in either paper or electronic format (.pdf or .xlsx).

Bids will be received up to the hour of 11:00 a.m., CDT, on Thursday, April 7, 2022, at the City Offices, 1001 East 4th Avenue, Suite 301, Milbank, SD 57252.  Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time. No bids will be received after the specified hour and date. Considerations of the bids will take place at the City Council Meeting, 7:00 PM, Monday, April 11, 2022, at the Milbank Visitors Center.

Each Bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope. Each sealed envelope containing a Bid must be plainly marked on the outside as Bid for Milbank Baseball Maintenance Supplies. The envelope should also bear on the outside, the name and address of the Bidder. 

Bids may not be withdrawn after the time fixed for opening them. The City of Milbank reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive irregularities as deemed to be in the best interest of Milbank, South Dakota.
