AND CALL FOR BIDS

MILBANK LEGION FIELD

VERTICALS

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Milbank, Grant County, South Dakota will receive sealed competitive bids for the Legion Field Verticals. 

Construction will occur at 234 N Dakota St, Milbank, SD 57252.

Plans and bidding documents for this project (concrete backstop installation, furnish and install chain link fence, install ChampionWall and Versacap, install foul poles, furnish and install bullpens, install dugouts, furnish and install batting cage barn, install miscellaneous concrete pavement outside of the field) can be obtained at the Milbank City Office or by contacting the City Administrator at cityadministrator@milbanksd.com or calling 605-432-9575.

The Lump Sum Bid shall include all materials, labor, equipment, and excise taxes to complete the project.

No bid security is required.  The Bidder to whom the contract is awarded will be required to furnish a construction performance bond and a construction payment bond to the Owner in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract award for each bond. The construction performance bond and construction payment bond shall remain in full force until the completion of the Contract.

Bids will be received up to the hour of 11:00 a.m., CDT, on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at the City Offices, 1001 East 4th Avenue, Suite 301, Milbank, SD 57252.  Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time. No bids will be received after the specified hour and date. 

Each Bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope. Each sealed envelope containing a Bid must be plainly marked on the outside as Bid for Legion Field Verticals. The envelope should also bear on the outside, the name and address of the Bidder. Bids shall be entered on bid form provided. Bids may be hand delivered or mailed to the Milbank City Office, 1001 East 4th Ave, Ste. 301, Milbank, SD 57262 or may be emailed to cityadministrator@milbanksd.com by the appointed time below. If emailed, the subject line should read Legion Field Verticals Bid.

Bids may not be withdrawn after the time fixed for opening them. The City of Milbank reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive irregularities as deemed to be in the best interest of Milbank, South Dakota.
