NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BY THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT ON A PROPOSED CONDITIONAL USE AND VARIANCE
Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held on September 14, 2020 at 5:30 P.M., by Zoom Teleconference to consider in full or in part the following proposed conditional use and variance permit requested by J&J Land Sales.
The request is for a conditional use permit to erect two family dwellings 17.08.04, and a variance in area regulations 17.08.06, Single Family Residential District. If granted the conditional use would allow six or seven twin home units be built on the properties known as LOT 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 Valley View Addition in NE ¼ of Section 18, Township 120 North, Range 48 West of 5th P.M. in the City of Milbank, Grant County, South Dakota. The variance, if allowed, would permit Lot 14 Valley View Addition in NE ¼ of Section 18, Township 120 North, Range 48 West of 5th P.M. to have a side yard setback that is less than required.  The encroachment would be 5.45’ into the side yard setback. The property is zoned R-1, Single Family Residential District.
