NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BY THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
ON A PROPOSED VARIANCE
Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held on April 6, 2026, at 6 p.m., in the City Offices, 1001 E. 4th Ave., Milbank, SD 57252 to consider in full or in part the following proposed variance requested by John Trevett.
The request, if granted, would temporarily permit a garage to be placed on the property until a house can be found, not to exceed 18 months. Chapter 17.24 addresses accessory structures. The property is identified as 703 E Milbank Ave, EASTMAN'S FIRST ADDN LOT 1 & 1/2 VACATED PARK STREET, City of Milbank, South Dakota, Zoned R3 Multiple Family Residential District.
To address the Board of Adjustment, any property owner or their designee in the City of Milbank may notify and provide feedback and any materials to the Zoning Officer by noon on the Friday before the next scheduled meeting of the Board of Adjustment, this allows adequate follow-up time to address received feedback.
