CITY OF MILBANK NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BY THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT ON A PROPOSED VARIANCE
Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held on May 4, 2026, at 6 p.m., in the City Offices, 1001 E. 4th Ave., Milbank, SD 57252 to consider in full or in part the following proposed variance requested by Kenneth Henriksen.
The request, if granted, would permit a 28’ x 28’ garage to be built on the property. Chapter 17.24 addresses accessory structures. The property is identified 507 E 8th St, South Side Addition Subdivision of Ol 7 Blk 10, Lot 7, City of Milbank, South Dakota, Zoned R2 - General Residential District.
To address the Board of Adjustment, any property owner or their designee in the City of Milbank may notify and provide feedback and any materials to the Zoning Officer by noon on the Friday before the next scheduled meeting of the Board of Adjustment, this allows adequate follow-up time to address received feedback.
