Corona Town Board Proceedings
April 6, 2026
The Corona Town board met Monday,  April 6, 2026 at 7 p.m.  Members  Settje, Schultz, and Settje were present.  Also present was Harris and Lori Harms, Mark Schuler and Cindy Settje.  DGR representative, Aaron Miller, and Trent Bruce, called into the meeting.
JoAnn Settje called the meeting to order.
Change orders for additional work were reviewed and accepted. A few areas were discussed regarding drainage. Engineers will look into options to improve.
The reimbursement request from March was corrected and a new request was signed.
DGR reported that the BRIC funding from Homeland Security is returning. Corona is on the list. Funding will cover design expenses for the drainage project.
Jerry Settje began discussion on the old well. The fire department would need to make some adjustments to fill trucks.
MFO reported that the floors in the community center need to be cleaned and will look into options.
Three petitions were returned for the two trustee positions that are open. There will be an election.
Summer mowing was discussed.  MFO will advertise the position.
