Kelly, Robin Schultz Named
St. Patrick’s Parade Marshals

The members of the Corona Community Club will host the annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration on Saturday, March 19. Long-time Corona residents Kelly and Robin Schultz have been chosen as the grand marshals for the annual parade.
Rather than celebrating on St. Patrick’s Day, the group centered the celebration plans on Saturday to make it easier for the public to attend the festivities. The 24th annual event will include the parade on Corona’s Main Street at 4 p.m.
All who enter the parade will have the chance to win trophies as the judges look for the most Irish float, most unique, best children’s float and, new this year, the most tractory tractor. To enter the parade, call 605-432-5404,434-1106 or 432-5770. The public is invited to contribute candy to be distributed in the candy toss after the parade.
Additional activities during the celebration include lunch at the Corona Community Center served by the Wilmot post-prom committee. The annual little lads and lassie contest is slated again this year, and the barrel train will be operational as one of the special activities for the kids.
As one might expect, plenty of Irish food and drink will be available in the town. The community club members will also award a prize for the most Irish spirit. See the ad elsewhere in this issue for more information.
