Fall Snow

Mother Nature had a change of heart in the past week or so. The community saw daytime high temperatures in the upper 80s on October 9 and 10, but by Monday, October 19, there were many front porches in Milbank sporting a bit of snow on the autumn and Halloween decorations. This sign, located at 412 S. Third Street offers a cheery, “Happy Fall Y’all” to passersby despite the evidence that winter is on the way. The forecast for this week includes more snow flurries and high temperatures in the 20s and 30s with overnight low temperatures dipping as low as 12 degrees.
