Girl Scouts Donate

The Wilmot Girl Scout Troop #40713 presented Shawn Hendricks, manager of Hartford Beach State Park, with a donation of $1,500 to use toward improvements on the new archery course that was recently completed at the park. Members are, left to right, Alesana Olson, Maci Hickman, Jada Cameron, Natalie Remily, Cambria Cameron, Karli Beumer, Brooklyn Remund and Addison Jurgens. According to Hendricks, the troop frequents the park and participates in various events, programs and activities throughout the year. Their intention for the donation is that it be used to buy bows and other items needed for the archery program. Hendricks added that contributions and volunteer time investment are vital to projects such as this.
