Girl Scouts Start Drive to Help
SNAP Recipients
The fifth grade students at Milbank Elementary have partnered with Milbank’s Girl Scout Troop 40905 to conduct a community closet drive. Donations can be made until Friday, December 5, with drop off locations at American Lutheran Church and Central Church in Milbank along with Milbank Elementary.
Organizers are asking for items that are not available for purchase under most assistance programs, such as hygiene care and household items. Items include shampoo and conditioner, body wash, tooth paste and brushes, dish and laundry soap, garbage and sandwich bags, saran wrap, diapers, baby wipes, deodorant, paper towels, toilet paper, feminine hygiene products, foil, and more.
Items can also be purchased from the Grant County Community Closet Amazon wishlist by searching for Milbank Girl Scout Troop 40905 in the find a registry or gift list on Amazon.
