Grant County Library to Begin Adult Reading Program

Grant County Library
to Begin Adult
Reading Program

The Grant County Public Library 2020 adult reading program is set to begin February 18 and will conclude March 28. The theme for this year’s program is A Universe of Stories. The program hopes to inspire readers to explore and believe in themselves as well as to create their own story.
Book bingo cards are available for pick up at the library now and may be turned in anytime during the adult reading program. Book bingo challenges readers to expand their reading genre outside of their normal reads and embrace A Universe of Stories. A prize is awarded for each book bingo completed and a registration slip for the grand prize will be given. A grand prize winner will be awarded at the end of the program.
Patrons will also receive a registration slip for each book read during the six weeks of the program. A name will be drawn each week honoring a reader of the week who will be awarded a special gift.
“The six-week program not only offers a wonderful opportunity to help pass these cold winter days but awards readers for doing what they already love,” said Tammy Wollschlager, library employee. “No registration is required, and adults are welcome to join the fun. Watch the library website and upcoming news stories for other special events planned to celebrate A Universe of Stories.”
