NOTICE OF JOINT PUBLIC

HEARING

ORDINANCE #2021-03

AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED, AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 1102 “COMMERCIAL/INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT”, SECTION 1102.02, “PERMITTED USES”, ARTICLE III “ESTABLISHMENT OF DISTRICTS”, ARTICLE XII, “GENERAL REGULATIONS”; AND ARTICLE II, DEFINITIONS, ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE 2004-01, AS AMENDED, OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF GRANT COUNTY.

The Grant County Planning Commission and the Grant County Board of County Commissioners will hold a joint public hearing on August 31, 2021 at 8 a.m. at the Grant County Courthouse located at 210 E 5th Avenue, Milbank, SD. All interested persons are encouraged to attend in person and comment on Ordinance #2021-03. After the public hearing, the Planning Commission may pass a resolution recommending approval of Ordinance 2021-03, with or without amendment, to the Board of County Commissioners. The Board of County Commissioners may have first reading of Ordinance #2021-03 by title and set a 2nd reading date.

The proposed Ordinance #2021-03 will be made available for public inspection at the Grant County Auditor’s Office located at 210 E 5th Avenue, Milbank, SD and on-line at http://association.1stdistrict.org/grant-county-board-of-adjustment/ pursuant to SDCL Section 11-2 and amendments thereto.

Written comments may be filed by mailing them to the Auditor at 210 E 5th Avenue, Milbank, SD 57252 on or before noon on August 27, 2021.
