Grant County Public Library Introduces Adult Program

Grant County Public Library Introduces Adult Program

The Grant County Public Library staff has created a spring adult reading program titled Color Our World. The program will run from Sunday, March 1, through Saturday, April 18.
The project encourages patrons to find ways to be inspired in the world through books for adults at the library. Adult readers will be given a registration slip with each book or CD book read and returned during the seven weeks. From the slips, a reader of the week will be drawn each week and awarded a prize.
The library staff can help select reading materials. Patrons are encouraged to pick up a challenge sheet and complete as many of the challenges as they can. Each square completed earns a registration slip for a chance at a $25 cash card award.
This program is open to the public for special events during the seven week program.
Crafty Creations with Cheryl will be holding sessions on Thursday, March 12, as well as Thursday, April 9. Registration is required. Call or stop at the library to sign up for one of the events and look for more information on other projects.
The Adult Coloring Group with Barb meets every Thursday, at 1 p.m. All supplies are provided, and new techniques are explored.
Calling ALL Artists, facilitated by Judy Frink, is on Fridays, at 1 p.m. Those attending may bring in their own works in progress or join in the group project. All are welcome to these events with no registration required.
Attendance at any of the Grant County Public Library adult programs in the seven weeks will qualify for a chance at a prize drawing. A winner will be drawn at the conclusion of the program.
