and the Holidays 
Session Slated 
 
Those who have family members with diabetes or who will have holiday guests who have diabetes can learn about the condition and how to handle it during holiday celebrations. An informational workshop is slated Wednesday, November 20, from 3 to 6 p.m. at Avera Milbank, 301 Flynn Drive. 
Those who attend will receive information about insulin, continuous glucose monitoring, insulin pumps, eye care, foot care, nutrition counseling, medication consultation and the latest technology to help control blood sugar.
The event will feature a presentation by a dietician at 4:30 p.m. and several vendors will have informational stations. See the ad elsewhere in this issue for more information.
