Council Proceedings

The LaBolt Town Council met January 2, 2024 at the LaBolt Hall. Present were Jon Wold, John Wollenberg, Larry Erp, Kenny Wold and Tiffany Leonard.

The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m.

The minutes from the last meeting were read and approved. Financial report was given and approved.

The following bills were approved for payment from the general fund; Ottertail Power (street lights) $219.33; Ottertail Power (fire hall) $134.58; Ottertail Power (sign) $6.89; Brookings Deuel Water $30.00; Northwestern Energy $10.00; Larry Erp $12.20; Tiffany Leonard $31.56; Grant County Review $14.98; and Town of LaBolt $312.00.

We discussed keeping the Grant County Review as our newspaper for official publications for the year 2024, keeping Foley and Foley Law Office PC as our attorney for 2024.

The salaries for the Town Board for 2024 are as follows:

$98.02/month for Town Board President; $85.00/month for Trustees; $364.00/month for Finance Officer; Finance Helper $20.00/hour; $82.91/month for the person taking care of the sewer ponds.

Kenny made a motion to approve all reports and new business from tonight. Larry seconded and motion passed.

Next meeting will be Monday, February 5, 2024 at 7 p.m.
