Council Proceedings
The LaBolt Town Council met July 6, 2020 at the LaBolt Fire Hall. Present were Justin Siderewicz, Jon Wold, Larry Erp, Barb Ellingson and John Wollenberg.
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m.
The minutes from the last meeting were read and approved. The treasurer’s report was given and approved.
The following bills were approved for payment from the general fund:
Northwestern Energy $10.00; Otter Tail Power $255.06 (Street Lights); Otter Tail Power $7.19 (LaBolt sign); Otter Tail Power $61.41 (Fire Hall); Grant County Review $17.31; Brookings Rural Water $25.00 Otter Tail Power (LaBolt campsite) $41.88; Barb Ellingson $86.80; Insurance Solutions Plus $3,854.00.
John Wollenberg – Park is looking good
Barb – Reservations for the park are going very well. We are full or almost full most weekends.
There was further discussion on updating the playground equipment at the park. It was tabled until next year.
Jon made a motion to close the Fire dept. bank account. Larry seconded and it passed.
Jon made a motion to declare the 2 ½ lots on the Northeast corner of Church and Georgia Avenues as surplus property. Larry seconded and the motion passed.
Larry made a motion to set the appraised price of the 2 ½ lots at $1,000.00. Jon seconded and the motion passed.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
