LaBolt Town Council Proceedings • June 6, 2022

 

The LaBolt Town Council met June 6, 2022 at the LaBolt Hall. Present were Jon Wold, Larry Erp, John Wollenberg and Barb Ellingson, Danny Berglund and Jan Zuvers were guests.

The meeting was called to order at 8 p.m.

The following bills were approved for payment from the general fund:  Brookings Deuel $28.00;; Grant Co Review $16; Otter Tail Power (sign)  $7.84; Otter Tail Power  (street lights) $217.74; Otter Tail Power (LaBolt campsite)$33.91; Grant County Auditor $25.77;  LaBolt Elevator $308.80; Sioux Valley  Co-op $8.09;  Justin Siderewicz $148.21.

The following bill was approved from the sewer account: SD Dept of Health $322.00

It was decided that we need 3 loads of gravel. Larry said they were delivered but we need an addition 2 loads and 1 of dirt.

There will be a community meeting in the town hall on June 20, 2022 at 8:30 p.m. regarding the liquor application by Emily and Curt Adolph.

Larry made a motion that the town pays for Franz bill for picking up the debris left from the EF1 tornado that came through the town. This is with the exception of what Nick Anspach; billed for. Kenneth seconded and motion passed.

Larry made a motion to accept the Resolution for Vacating Railroad Street.  Kenneth seconded and motion passed.
