Council Proceedings

   The LaBolt Town Council met September 3, 2019, at the LaBolt Fire Hall. Present were Justin Siderewicz, Larry Erp, Jon Wold, Barb Ellingson and John Wollenberg.
   The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m.
   The minutes from the last meeting were read and approved. The treasurer’s report was given and approved.
   The following bills were approved for payment from the general fund:
   Northwestern Energy $10.00; Otter Tail Power $236.21 (Street Lights); Otter Tail Power $6.71 (LaBolt sign); Otter Tail Power $32.00 (Fire Hall); Brookings Deuel $25.00; DJ Langenfeld $30.00; Grant County Review $27.99; LaBolt Elevator $221.55; Otter Tail Power $24.03 (Campsite).
   It was decided that the dock at the park will be pulled out about October 1st depending on the weather; the gate to the park will be locked on or about November 1st.
   The 2020 Budget was discussed and set. Larry made a motion to accept the budget and Jon accepted. Motion passed.
   There was discussion about the flower bed around the town sign. John Wollenberg has said that he will be willing to take over the flower bed from now on.
   Jon called for a motion to raise the following town salaries and Larry seconded:
   Board President $1,176.24/yearly; Board Members $1,020.00/yearly.
   Larry called for a motion to raise the following salaries and John seconded:
Finance Officer $4,368.00/year; Assistant to Finance Officer $20.00/hour.
   Next meeting will be Monday, October 7, 2019 at 7 PM.
