NOTICE OF HEARING

THE STATE OF KANSAS TO ALL

PERSONS CONCERNED:

You are hereby notified that on the 10th day of April, 2023, a Petition for Adoption and for Termination of Parental Rights was filed in the Butler County, Kansas District Court, praying for an Order permitting Petitioners to adopt Baby Boy Funk, an infant.

You are required to file your written defenses thereto to the petition on or before June 27, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the Probate Department, 201 W. Pine Avenue, El Dorado, Kansas 67042, at which time and place said cause will come on for hearing upon said Petition. If you assert paternity of said child and cannot afford an attorney to represent you in this matter, and if you desire to file such defenses, the Court may appoint an attorney to represent you. Should you fail to respond and file such Court pleadings by such time, a Decree of Adoption will be entered in due course.
