NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
BY THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT ON A VARIANCE
Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Grant County Board of Adjustment on Monday, June 13, 2022, at 4 p.m. in the Grant County Courthouse Community Room (basement) to consider in full or in part the following variance request by Richard and Stephanie Pauli on the following legally described property: Lot 1 Steffen Subdivision in SW ¼ Section 27 - T121 – R48 of the 5th P.M., (Melrose Township) Grant County, South Dakota:
• Variance Application, VAR05042022, A side yard setback variance pursuant to Section 1101.04.2 requiring a minimum 50-foot side yard setback. The variance, if granted, would allow the applicant to place a 24’ x 36’ shed 15 feet from the east property line.
The application and other associated written materials are available for public review at the Grant County Courthouse and at http://association .1stdistrict.org/grant-county-board-of-adjustment/. Written comments may be filed by emailing the County Zoning Officer at steve.berkner@ grantcountysd.us or by mailing them to the Zoning Officer at 210 East 5th Avenue, Milbank, SD 57252 on or before noon on June 10, 2022. No materials will be placed on the website after 5 p.m. on June 10, 2022.
