Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Grant County Board of Adjustment on Monday, April 11, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. in the Grant County Courthouse to consider in full or in part the following variance request by Evan Grong, 47744, 150th Street, Milbank SD, 57252, on the following legally described property: BERKNERS 2ND ADDN LOT 4 LOT, Section 12 - T120 - R49 of the 5th P.M., (Grant Center Township) Grant County, South Dakota:

  • Variance Application, VAR03072022, A front yard setback variance pursuant to Section 1101.04.2 requiring a minimum 100-foot front yard setback. The variance, if granted, would allow the applicant to place a building 62 feet from the front yard setback.

The application and other associated written materials are available for public review at the Grant County Courthouse and at http://association .1stdistrict.org/grant-county-board-of-adjustment/. Written comments may be filed by emailing the County Zoning Officer at steve.berkner@grantcountysd.us  or by mailing them to the Zoning Officer Auditor at 210 East 5th Avenue, Milbank, SD 57252 on or before noon on April 8, 2022. No materials will be placed on the website after 5 p.m. on April 8, 2022.
