NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BY THE DRAINAGE BOARD ON A PROPOSED DRAINAGE PERMIT
Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held on Tuesday, April 7th, 2026, at 8 a.m. at the Grant Courthouse, 210 East 5th Avenue, Milbank, SD, to consider the following Drainage Permit for Dustin Nelson, 14824 455th Ave., Summit, SD, 57266. The request, if granted, would control erosion.
Permit DR2026-03, for land located within the NE1/4 of Section 34, Township 120, Range 52, West of the 5th Principal Meridian, Grant County, South Dakota. (Mazeppa Township).
The property seeking the drainage permit is located within the Big Sioux River Watershed.
During Drainage Board consideration certain restrictions and/or changes to the original drainage permit applications may be considered or conditioned. Approved Drainage Permits are good for two years and work is required to be completed within that time.
All persons interested therein may appear and be heard before the Drainage Board at said hearing or may file written comments with the Planning & Zoning Officer, acting as Drainage Administrator, by 3 p.m., Friday, April 3rd, at 210 E. 5th Ave., Milbank, SD 57252 prior to said hearing.
