NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS

BY THE GRANT COUNTY

BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT FOR

A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT

AND A VARIANCE

Notice is hereby given that public hearings will be held by the Grant County Board of Adjustment on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. in the Grant County Courthouse Community Room (basement) to consider in full or in part the following requests for conditional use permit (CUP) and variance (VAR) by Lenny Stahl, DBA Dakota Storage Buildings, on the following legally described property: LOTS 2 & 3 RIGGIN AIRPORT ADDN IN GOVT LOT 1 OF NW1/4 EX LOT H1 IN LOT 2 Section 7-119-48 (Vernon West Township) Grant County, South Dakota:

· CUP09052023, to amend Conditional Use Permit CUP12202001; pursuant to Section 1101.04.01: Area Regulations, Lot Size; All residential lots shall be a minimum of two (2) acres, not counting the road right-of-way. All other permitted uses and conditional uses shall have a minimum area and setback regulations as determined by the Board of Adjustment.

· VAR09052023, a variance pursuant to Section 1101.04.02: Area Regulations, Front Yard; the applicant, Stahl, is requesting a variance to build within 40’ of South Dakota Highway 15 for an office addition instead of the previously granted 50’ front yard setback with variance VAR09272002.

No materials will be placed on the website after 5 p.m. on October 6, 2023.
