Patriotic Parade Designed for Local Children and Dogs
Children enrolled in the Grant County Public Library summer reading program are invited to celebrate America’s 250th birthday by taking part in a parade.
The Patriotic Parade is set for Wednesday, July 1, at 1:15 p.m.
The public is encouraged to cheer on the children as they ride their decorated bikes, scooters, wagons, and tricycles around the library and courthouse block.
A fun red, white, and blue theme will extend to their dogs as well. The children will have the rare opportunity to dress up their canines and parade alongside them.
