NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO 

ORDINANCE NO. 2022-01B

AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED, AN

ORDINANCE TO AMEND ARTICLE II “DEFINITIONS”, ARTICLE XI

“ZONING DISTRICTS, AND ARTICLE XII “GENERAL REQUIREMENTS, ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE 2004-01, AS AMENDED, OF THE ZONING

ORDINANCE OF GRANT COUNTY.

The Grant County Board of County Commissioners Council will hold a public hearing on December 6, 2022  at 9:15 a.m.  at the Grant County Courthouse located at 210 E 5th Avenue, Milbank, SD. The public hearing is being held to take comments on a proposed amendment to Ordinance 2022-01B which was made during the Grant County Commission’s Public Hearing on Ordinance 2022-01B held on November 15, 2022.

All interested persons are encouraged to attend the public hearing in person and comment on the proposed amendment to Ordinance 2022-01B.  After the Board of County Commissioners public hearing, the Board may have second reading of Ordinance 2022-01B, as amended.

The proposed amendment to Ordinance 2022-01B will be made available for public inspection online at the Grant County website of www.grantcounty.sd.gov on-line at http://association.1stdistrict.org/grant-county-board-of-adjustment/ pursuant to SDCL Section 11-2 and amendments thereto.

Written comments may be filed by mailing them to the Auditor at 210 E 5th Avenue, Milbank, SD 57252 on or before noon on December 2, 2022.
