Public Invited to Grief Support Group
Area residents who have been touched by grief are welcome to participate in a grief support group that will meet every Thursday, beginning July 15, for 13 weeks. Each session will be from 1 to 3 p.m.
The first session will be facilitated by Pastor Tim Koch and will be conducted at the Milbank Visitor Center, 1001 E. 4th Ave., Milbank. To register, call 605-432-3260.
The group is open to anyone grieving the loss of a loved one. There is no cost and the topics will include discussions of what is normal grief, methods to work through grief and find healing and hope. It will provide a warm, safe environment to express emotions, according to organizers. The opportunity is provided by Milbank Area Hospital Avera and Avera@Home.
