A hearing will be held by the Roberts County Planning and Zoning Commission in the Commissioners’ Room at the Roberts County Courthouse at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 21, 2026.
To consider a request for a VARIANCE from the zoning ordinance.
The request is made by Dennis & Leslye Lindholm.
For the purpose of: The Lindholms wish to build a “barndominium” structure with a side yard setback of 15ft from the property line shared with neighboring parcel #15514. Since the Lindholms’ parcel was platted after 2019, it is subject to the new setback requirements, which include 25ft side yard setbacks. The Lindholms assert that much of the parcel is very wet/marshy, and the proposed structure cannot be placed more than 15ft back from the property line. The proposed structure meets the other setback requirements of the Zoning Ordinance.
