A hearing will be held by the Roberts County Planning and Zoning Commission in the Commissioners’ Room at the Roberts County Courthouse at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 21st, 2026.
To consider a request for a VARIANCE from the zoning ordinance.
The request is made by Gus A Theye.
For the purpose of: Mr. Theye wishes to build a new house on his property and move into it. There is an existing house on the property that he currently occupies. The Zoning Ordinance does not allow two residences on one parcel in this zoning district. Mr. Theye affirms that no one will live in the old house once the new house is completed. The proposed variance would stipulate that the old house will eventually be moved/demolished at some point after the new house is completed.
Legal Description: A Tract of Land 140ft x 300ft in the SW1/4 Sec 27-122-51 Summit Township
