Clay Target League
Families wishing to enroll their youth in grades six through 12 in the Milbank Area High School clay target team can do so from now until Tuesday, March 15.
The boys and girls who participate must complete the HuntSafe course, according to Wayne Meyer, coach. The program traditionally has close to 40 participants, and last year five of the Milbank students were ranked in the top 100 shooters in the state. Of those who achieved the all-state distinction, three are returning for the Milbank team this season. They are Will Pekelder, Lucas Johnson and Tyler Lee.
The youth on the Milbank team will shoot on Sunday afternoons, starting March 27. See the ad elsewhere in this issue for details or contact Meyer at 605-880-4920.
