RESOLUTION TO VACATE STREET

 

 

WHEREAS, a duly completed and verified Petition by Dale Madsen has been filed in the Twin Brooks city offices wherein the Petitioner asked for the vacating of a public street, Jay Avenue, and

WHEREAS, the described street is as follows:

THE PORTION OF JAY AVENUE

SOUTH OF LOTS 10 AND 11, BLOCK

5, LASELL’S ADDITION, 

COMMENCING AT TOO GOOD 

STREET AND TRAVELING EAST TO

LASELL’S STREET, TWIN BROOKS,

GRANT COUNTY, SOUTH DAKOTA,

and,

WHEREAS, the necessary NOTICE OF HEARING was duly published in the Grant County Review on July 21, 2021 and again on July 28, 2021,

NOW, THEREFORE, a Public Hearing to consider vacating the aforementioned street was held by the City Council of Twin Brooks South Dakota on August 10, 2021, and after due consideration and upon motion by Porath, seconded by Wellnitz, the motion to vacate the foregoing described street was unanimously approved and said street is thereby vacated upon recording this Resolution and a plat of the subject property with the Grant County South Dakota Register of Deeds.
