St. Lawrence Students Present Spring Concert

The St. Lawrence school students will present a spring concert Wednesday, May 6, with the kindergarten through sixth grade pupils matinee at 1: 30 p.m. and regular performance at 5:30 p.m., and pre-school at 5 p.m.

Highlights being featured are each grade are separately singing and performing with instruments including, xylophones, recorders, and handchimes.

Music selections include sacred and secular pieces starting with My Backpack an all school song. A tribute to the country is a medley of Taste and See the Goodness of Our Lord, KumbaYah, and Peace Like a River. The favorite songs of the students are This is the Day and This Little Light of Mine, both songs include all students from kindergarten to sixth.

Ending the program will be Put Your Hand in My Hand, a friendship song of sixth graders and their kindergarten buddies.

The concert is under the direction of Kristy Tostenson.
