Meeting called to order at 5:30 P.M.
Board members present: Travis, Nicole, Rodney
Others Present: Tom, Stacy, Craig
Minutes of December meeting read; no corrections or additions. Motion to accept December minutes by Nicole, 2nd by Rodney.
Old Business:
Chuck discussed concerns of water loss within the town at March meeting – no updates at this time.
Discussion on town ordinances continued; Board Members and April will continue researching.
Second reading of the Municipal Tax, One Rate ordinance (21-01) read. First reading of Special Bed, Board, Booze, and Ticket Sales Tax (21-02) read. Second reading of the Property Maintenance Violations Ordinance (21-03) read- effective June 1, 2022.
Discussion regarding obtaining a City Attorney; research to continue for next meeting.
Some maintenance needed to pump house; someone planning to complete the work.
Suggestion made for a payment box to be placed in town and possibly shadow box for minutes; Board considering.
COVID money is available to Town; funds declined by unanimous vote.
No other old business.
New Business:
Discussion on snow concerns; discussion tabled at this time.
Bid received from Kelly’s Kutters for 2022- rates to remain the same. Unanimous vote to continue contract.
Discussion on upcoming hall maintenance- including ventilation; tabled until spring.
2022 Election year- 1 vacancy to be advertised.
No other new business.
Bills: Otter Tail: TBD; Grant Co Review: $20.03; IRS: $206.58; Napa: $93.98; SD DOH: $15; Runnings: $27.72; SD Municipal League: $81.74; Chuck: $92.35; April: $323.22 - Motion to pay bills by Rodney; 2nd by Nicole.
Motion to adjourn by Nicole, with second by Rodney.
