Meeting called to order at 7:30 p.m. Board Members Present: Travis, Rodney. Others Present: Stacy Thaden.
Minutes of July meeting read; no additions or corrections. Motion to accept July minutes by Rodney, 2nd by Travis.
Old Business:
Grant Roberts Rural Water project updates: Construction is underway in Marvin for the water system.
No other old business.
New Business:
Questions regarding Grant Roberts Rural Water raised by Stacy Thaden.
Also raised discussion regarding SD Codified Law regarding Board Members. Board will research as suggested by Stacy Thaden.
Refunds will be issued to residents with balances on their water accounts as of August 1, 2026.
Discussion regarding potholes – Travis will contact the county regarding fill before winter.
Bills: Rodney Smith: $29.64; Brus Custom Services: $2,259.30; IRS: $206.58; Otter Tail: $28.22, $71.61, $241.33; Grant County Review: $18.13; Whetstone Sanitation: $189.64; SD DOH: $1,330.00; Chuck: $92.35; April: $323.22; All August bills to be paid, then reported at next meeting- Motion to pay bills by Rodney; 2nd by Travis.
Motion to adjourn by Travis with 2nd by Rodney. Next meeting: Monday, September 7, at 7:30 p.m.
