The regular meeting for Town of Revillo was called to order at 7:13 p.m. on February 12, 2024 with the following present:  Wayne Erickson, Amber Seidell and Bob Adler.

The agenda was adopted.

The minutes and financial statements were approved. Claims list was approved.

Items of discussion included: update/amend floodplain ordinances, lots for sale, services offered by First District, burning in town, old bank building, extra labor hours, donation, time and day for meetings.

The second reading of the floodplain ordinance (Comprehensive regulations requested by FEMA) was held.  Ordinance No. 02-01-24 was adopted – motion by Bob Adler, seconded by Amber Seidell and passed 3-0.

FLOOD DAMAGE PREVENTION

ORDINANCE

Notice is hereby given that Ordinance No. 02-01-24, The Flood Damage Prevention Ordinance was duly adopted by the Town Board of Revillo, South Dakota on the 12th day of February, 2024, and will become effective on the 19th day of March, 2024.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN, that the Ordinance 02-01-24 will be made available for public inspection at the office of the Revillo Town Finance Officer (310 N. 2nd Ave.) during regular business hours. This Ordinance shall become effective 20 days after the last publication of this Notice once a week for two successive weeks in the official newspaper thereby repealing all ordinance or parts thereof in conflict.

Motion was made by Bob Adler, seconded by Amber Seidell and passed to approve the purchase agreement for lots 1-5 of Block 2 and authorization granted for finance officer to sign required documents.

Thank you to ITC for their $200 donation to the Town of Revillo.

Meeting was adjourned.  Next meeting is set for March 11, 2024 at 7 p.m.
