Board Proceedings
The Town Board of Stockholm conducted its regular monthly meeting on Monday, July 4, at 7 p.m. with board members Lorraine Collins,Mark Anderson and Tim Nowick present. The minutes were read with a motion by Nowick seconded by Anderson to accept the minutes as read.
Motion by Anderson seconded by Nowick to pay the following bills:
General Account: Grant County Review, $10.99; JB Lawncare, $1 097.25; ITC, $39.14; Railroad Management, $313.34; Jodi Nowick, $230.87; Otter Tail, $427.22; Revillo Elevator, $160.00 for weed spray; Whetstone Electric, $13.59.
Sewer Account, Otter Tail, $45.53.
The Fire Dept.is getting new fire hall lights and is asking the town to pay half, which is $540.00. Motion by Nowick seconded by Anderson to pay this. The issue of unmowed lawns was discussed with specific properties being brought up.
The next meeting will be Monday, August 1, at 7 p.m. With nothing further a motion to adjourn was made by Anderson seconded by Nowick.
