Town of Twin Brooks Council Proceedings • March 8, 2022

 

The Town of Twin Brooks conducted its monthly meeting March 8, 2022 with Wiseman, Wellnitz and Porath in attendance. Wellnitz called the meeting to order.

Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.

A motion was made by Porath and seconded by Wiseman to approve Finance Report.

Bills to be paid: Grant Roberts Rural Water 55.00; Otter Tail 308.52; Grant County Review, 9.99; Coester Schwandt Law 66.56; ITC 181.72.

Meeting was adjourned and seconded. Next meeting is set for April 12, 2022 at 7:30 p.m.

Special Meeting 

The Town of Twin Brooks conducted a special meeting March 10, 2022 with Wellnitz and Porath in attendance. Porath called the meeting to order.

A motion was made by Porath and seconded by Wellnitz to set the election date as June 21, 2022.

The following resolution was passed:

TWIN BROOKS, A POLITICAL

SUBDIVISION OF THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA

RESOLUTION 2022-02

WHEREAS, SDCL 9-7-3 requires the member of the Board of Trustees to serve three (3) year terms,

WHEREAS the Resignation of two (2) Trustees and the Finance Officer in May 2019 caused two new Trustees and Finance Officer to be appointed.

WHEREAS, recorded minutes of prior elections and length of terms have been lost,

NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved that the Twin Brooks Board of Trustees assigns the following terms:

Trustee #1 Perry Porath, Term to expire June 30, 2024

Trustee #2 Brian Wiseman, Term to expire June 30, 2022

Trustee #3 Roger Wellnitz, Term to expire June 30, 2023

It is further resolved this resolution is effective upon its publication as authorized under SDCL 9-19-13.
