Skywarn Weather Spotter
Class Offered to Public
Members of the public, as well as first responders, are invited to participate in a free Skywarn weather spotter class taught by Kelly Serr of the National Weather Service, Aberdeen office.
The approximately two-hour basic training will be staged at the Big Stone City fire hall on Monday, April 25, at 7 p.m. People may simply arrive for the training, as registration is not required.
Residents who previously have been certified in the course must be recertified every other year.
