August 24, 2026
The Wilmot City Council meeting was called to order at 7:01 p.m. on Monday, August 24, 2026, at the Wilmot City Office in regular session with Mayor Zachery Zempel presiding. Council members present: Roger Butler, Lindsey Dorosh, Jack Hansen, and Clayton Winge. Absent: Denise Samson. Others in attendance were Finance Officer Diana Halseide.
Any visitors present were given time to address Council with any questions or concerns they had.
Butler Motioned to approve the agenda, with the correction of the agenda items being for the 2027 Budget Appropriations Ordinance No. 347. Hansen seconded. All voted Aye. Motion carried.
New Business:
Council discussed the 2027 Budget Appropriations Ordinance No. 347.
Butler Motioned for the First Reading of the 2027 Budget Appropriations Ordinance No 347. Hansen Seconded. All voted Aye. Motion carried.
Butler Motioned to declare the 2027 Budget Appropriations Ordinance No 347 as having received the First Reading. Hansen Seconded. Roll Call Vote of Aye: Butler, Dorosh, Hansen, Winge. Nay: None. Absent: Samson. Motion carried.
The next Regular Council meeting is scheduled for Monday, September 14, 2026, at 7 p.m. at the Wilmot City Office located at 725 Main Street.
A Special Council Meeting for a second reading of the 2027 Budget will be September 28, 2026, at 7 p.m. in the Wilmot City Office.
At 8:44 p.m., Dorosh Motioned to adjourn. Winge seconded. All voted Aye, Motion carried.
