The Wilmot City Council meeting was called to order at 7:03 p.m. on Monday, September 28, 2026, at the Wilmot City Office in regular session with Mayor Zachery Zempel presiding. Council members present: Roger Butler, Jack Hansen, and Clayton Winge. Absent: Lindsey Dorosh and Denise Samson. Others in attendance were Finance Officer Diana Halseide.
Any visitors present were given time to address Council with any questions or concerns they had.
Butler motioned to approve the agenda as read. Hansen seconded. All voted Aye. Motion carried.
New Business:
Council discussed the option of repairing the asphalt on Grant Avenue with any property owners present that a future project could affect.
Butler motioned for the Second Reading of the 2027 Budget Appropriations Ordinance No. 347. Winge Seconded. All voted Aye. Motion carried.
Butler motioned to approve and adopt the 2027 Budget Appropriations Ordinance No 347 as read, with an effective date of January 1, 2027. Hansen seconded. Roll Call Vote of Aye: Butler, Hansen, Winge. Nay: None. Absent: Dorosh, Samson. Motion carried.
The next regular council meeting is scheduled for Monday, October 12, 2026, at 7 p.m. at the Wilmot City Office located at 725 Main Street.
At 7:33 p.m., Butler motioned to adjourn. Winge seconded. All voted Aye, Motion carried.
