WVRA Ranch Rodeo Scheduled for Saturday
The Whetstone Valley Rodeo Association (WVRA) is staging their annual ranch rodeo on Saturday, August 9, at the WVRA rodeo arena southeast of Milbank.
Community members can enjoy spectating as competitors display their skills in team sorting, team branding, team doctoring, trailer loading, relay race, children’s boot race, children’s goat chase and children’s calf chase.
The calcutta begins at 6:30 p.m with the rodeo starting at 7 p.m. Admission is $7 for adults, ages six to 12 are $5 and no cost for those under five years old. Concessions will be available. Spectators are asked to park on the east side of the arena.
