Plan for County

The Grant County mitigation planning team will meet on Monday, December, 16 at noon, in the courthouse community room. The public is welcome to attend.

The meeting is Grant County’s initial step in the process of updating the Grant County pre-disaster mitigation plan, according to Kevin Schuelke, Grant County emergency management director. The plan identifies potential natural disasters, their impact and possible projects to mitigate the impact of said disasters. The county is required by the Federal Emergency Management Agency to update the plan every five years.
