ORDINANCE #2020-01A

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING GRANT COUNTY ORDINANCE #2004-1, AN ORDINANCE

ESTABLISHING ZONING

REGULATIONS FOR GRANT COUNTY, SOUTH DAKOTA, AND PROVIDING FOR THE

ADMINISTRATION,

ENFORCEMENT, AND

AMENDMENT THEREOF, IN

ACCORDANCE WITH THE

PROVISIONS OF CHAPTERS 11-2, 1967 SDCL, AND AMENDMENTS THEREOF, AND FOR THE REPEAL OF ALL RESOLUTIONS AND

ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH

The Grant County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Monday, June 8, 2020 at 4 p.m. at the Grant County Courthouse located at 210 East 5th Avenue, Milbank, SD. All interested persons are encouraged to attend by teleconference and comment on Ordinance #2020-01A, An ordinance amending Grant County ordinance #2004-1, An ordinance establishing zoning regulations for Grant County, South Dakota, and providing for the administration, enforcement, and amendment thereof, in accordance with the provisions of chapters 11-2, 1967 SDCL, and amendments thereof, and for the repeal of all resolutions and ordinances in conflict therewith.

Based on current circumstances surrounding Covid-19, this meeting will be held virtually over a tele-conference platform. All persons interested therein may participate in the hearing. Instructions on how to listen, view and/or participate in the hearing may be found at:

The proposed Ordinance #2020-01A will be made available for public inspection at the Grant County Auditor’s Office at 210 East 5th Avenue, Milbank, SD 57252 and on-line at http://association.1stdistrict.org/grant-county-board-of-adjustment/. (Pursuant to SDCL Section 11-2 and amendments thereto.)

Written comments may be filed by emailing the Zoning Officer at Krista.Atyeo-Gortmaker@grantcountysd.us or by mailing them to the Zoning Officer at 210 East 5th Avenue, Milbank, SD 57252 on or before noon on June 5, 2020. No materials will be placed on the website after 5 p.m. on June 5, 2020.
