Council Proceedings

 

The LaBolt Town Council met June 1, 2020 at the LaBolt Fire Hall. Present were Justin Siderewicz, Jon Wold, Larry Erp, Barb Ellingson and John Wollenberg.

The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m.

The minutes from the last meeting were read and approved. The treasurer’s report was given and approved. 

The following bills were approved for payment from the general fund:

Northwestern Energy $52.83; Otter Tail Power $218.04 (Street Lights); Otter Tail Power $6.28 (LaBolt sign); Otter Tail Power $37.07 (Fire Hall); Grant County Review $34.35; Brookings Rural Water $25.00; Kranz Well & Excavation $2,090.00; Peters Gravel $377.86; Otter Tail Power (LaBolt campsite) $56.83; Revillo Elevator $60.14; Sioux Valley Co-op $29.87. 

The following bill was approved for payment from the sewer fund:

SD Department of Health $132.00.

John Wollenberg – Park is looking good

Barb – Reservations for the park are going very well. We are full or almost full most weekends.

The bids for the pickup were opened and the truck was sold to the highest bidder.

There was discussion on updating the playground equipment at the park.  It was tabled to another month.

Justin presented a building permit for himself. Jon made a motion to accept the permit and Larry seconded it.  Motion passed.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
