Hay Available on Refuge

HAY AVAILABLE ON REFUGE
 
Big Stone National Wildlife Refuge, Odessa, MN, will be allowing hay cutting on a number of Refuge units for 2020. Haying on the Refuge is used as a management practice to aid in the manipulation and improvement of grassland habitat. Hay units will be available for cutting on August 14, 2020. Individuals will be selected based on receipt of sealed high bid per hay unit.
Sealed bids must be received by the Refuge Office no later than 4:00 p.m., August 7, 2020. Please call Josh Bauer (USFWS Refuge Specialist) at 320-305-9048, or joshua_d_bauer@fws.gov for complete information on bidding requirements and unit locations.
