Boy Scouts of America Event
to be Staged at Lake Farley
The Milbank Area Scouts Boy Scouts of America (BSA) will host its annual Scout Kick-Off and registration night on Thursday, August 27, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Lake Farley Park in Milbank.
Fun Scout activities are planned for youth and their families. There is no cost to attend this event. Attendees are asked to practice social distancing guidelines and respect everyone’s space.
Cub Scouts are for youth kindergarten through middle of fifth grade, and Scouts BSA include youth middle of fifth grade through 12th grade (age 18).
Parents and youth are invited to find out more about the local Scouts BSA programs, enjoy a fun filled family evening and register for the upcoming year if they decide scouting is for them. The event is for new scout sign-ups, scouts planning to return this year, and for anyone interested in just learning more about scouting and what scouting can do for area youth and their families.
